the next SKM dates are from Sat 10 Jan 2009 until Sat 17 Jan 2009. As usual the best riders from all over the world (ski and snowboard)will compete against the best french riders (winners of the french championship ski and snowboard) we call those winners "the Snowkitemasters".
Our location is the entry of the department of the Hautes Alps "Col du Lautaretit" is the spot where the snowkite was born.
The event is led by Guillaume Chastagnol, Triple Champion of the world in this discipline and master of increasingly more daring tricks.
The show is guaranteed. The SKM is the occasion for riders, media and kiteworld to meet at our universally known location. The SKM is the event you must not miss it integrates the season of winter and the snowkite in a masterly way.
For the 2nd year the French Federation is again launching the championship of snowkite freestyle for season 2009. The Snowkite Master Organisation will be the Project Manager for the event. We impatiently await your arrival for this week of riding!

› French Championships of Snowkite Freestyle !
For the 2nd year the French Federation is again launching the championship of snowkite freestyle for season 2009.
The Snowkite Master Organisation will be the Project Manager for the event. We impatiently await your arrival for this week of riding!

› Snowkite history
The kitesurf officially born in 1996. After a quick success on
water,some kiters transposed the discipline over to snow and
developed kitesurfing on mountains. Snowkiting was Born!!
Riders can climb 1000 meters in 15 minutes, enjoy 10m high jumps of up to 100m long. "A new dimension"...
