Visiting the Abbey of the Mont St Michel
In 709, after an apparition, Aubert, bishop of Avranches, decided to build a chapel and recruit priests to pray to Archangel Saint-Michel on a deserted rock. The latter, beaten by the swell, was called Mont «Tombe (or tomb) ». The abbey will give you a very complete picture of medieval architecture.

This garden is a real invitation to discover the botanical heritage with its superb mosaïculture massifs and remarkable trees. You will also be able to discover one of the big treasures of this green space: a unique view over the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel (see adjoining photo).
