Snowshoeing
Feel at one with nature with snowshoes strapped to your feet. In the dead silence of a vast snowscape, you will tread pristine stretches of wilderness and come into contact with chamois and ibex as if by instinct.
Dog sledding
In the Great North, man's best friend was not a horse, but rather a dog. In the frozen silence, sleds ploughed through the snow. Invigorated by the fresh air, settlers innovated a natural means of powering them. When this tradition made its way to Tignes, it became a breathtaking ride over the frozen lake. Located in the heart of the resort, the lake is accessible in a matter of minutes.
Ice skating
Slip on your skates and enter a world of fun and sport. Depending on your mood and preference, you can opt for leisurely skating or Winter Games on the lake. To expand your skating possibilities, Tignes also offers 'Disco on Ice' evenings every week.
Skijoring
This sport is practised on the icefield of Tignes' Lake, where you will be pulled on skis or snowboard.
Ice Diving
Break the ice at Tignes.
Intriguing. Surprising. Captivating. Not a single noise or movement. Here, air bubbles dance, while rays of sunlight or moonlight play on the frozen surface. Rediscover the wild and feel at one with nature.
Whether a beginner or advanced ice diver, plunge straight into the icy waters of the frozen lake and take advantage of professional advice, suitable facilities and equipment to go ice diving in utter safety.
MTB on snow
When the ski runs close, the mountain bikes
arrive in the starting blocks! Travel up in the
gondola and ride down the deserted pistes as
the sun sets. This is another way to sample the
joys of snowsports, but on 2 wheels this time...
Ice climbing
The artificial waterfall of Tignes is frozen, announcing the arrival of winter. Climbing up a wall of ice, you're sure to enjoy a unique experience. Wearing a harness and crampons, with an ice axe in hand and a helmet on your head, you'll be off to conquer an icefall, suspended along a wall of ice.
Ice Karting
Ice offers a challenging terrain for the adventurous. In your 270 cc kart, outfitted with studded tires, you'll take off on Val Claret's ice-covered raceway. This 320-metre long track will challenge you to reach your limits.
Ice driving
In Tignes, you can demonstrate your daring beyond the ski runs. If you've always dreamed of performing feats on ice behind the wheel, you've come to the right place. Forget about city driving and discover ice driving at an altitude of 1,500 metres, just like a rally driver!
Snowmobiling
In Tignes, nothing stops the fun! At nightfall, the snow becomes a terrain to discover a unique sport combining nighttime discovery and adrenaline - snowmobiling. As an enthusiast of nature and motor sport, you'll enjoy the pleasure of driving a motorized vehicle while exploring the resort beneath the starry sky.
Paradigling
The fabric wing held taut above you will send you soaring like an eagle among the birds. The skies of Tignes are yours to explore.
