Les 2 Alpes: summer at high altitude

When winter takes its final bow, Les 2 Alpes steps up its game so you can make the most of the longer days in full summer mode. Here, you start at around 1,300–1,650 m (the village) and climb all the way up to 3,600 m: from a sky-reaching glacier to sweeping alpine meadows, with wide-open scenery guaranteed.

The fun is very much part of the experience: a bike park, mountain biking trails, areas for summer skiing and freestyle, downhill runs on all-terrain scooters, and paragliding for a different kind of elevation. The glacier sets the tone snow, ice, high-mountain light reminding you that this resort never does things halfway.

But summer here isn’t just about adrenaline. There are gentler moments too: sunny terraces, easy hikes through the Muzelle forest, afternoons swimming in nearby lakes (like Lac Bleu d’Allemond), or simply soaking in the views from the summit. The village, modern and lively without being overwhelming, keeps a relaxed and welcoming feel: riding, nature, and smiles.
