Avoid at all costs – numerous inconveniences and misleading information A very bad experience at this residence, with several problems that, taken together, made the stay particularly disappointing. 1. Parking: information that clearly misled us. Upon arrival, we were told that we were required to use the residence's parking lot at a rate of €40, as the outside parking lots were supposedly reserved for other residents and that parking there was prohibited, with the risk of having our vehicle towed. Finding this surprising, I contacted the Tourist Office directly, which confirmed that the Noyers and Frênes parking lots are free and open to the public. We could therefore have parked for free. This way of presenting things clearly gives the impression of being pressured into buying parking when a free solution exists. Despite about ten follow-up calls and emails to the residence reception and MMV customer service, we received no response. 2. The children's beds weren't made upon our arrival. The bunk beds weren't made upon arrival, which is clearly stated in the service description, but I don't understand why. It saves time for cleaning, but the perceived quality for the guest is lower. Disappointing. 3. A very poorly designed bathroom. The bathroom is more like a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, with a simple shower curtain and, most importantly, a clearly poorly designed drain. After every shower, water floods the entire bathroom. With two children, we then have to wade through water to use the room. It's frankly unpleasant and not what you'd expect from a holiday rental. 4. Very inadequate cleaning. The bedroom walls have marks that should have been cleaned, including several boogers stuck to the walls and traces of squashed spiders in various places. What's particularly surprising is that these issues are so obvious that one wonders how the cleaning could be considered finished. Finally, on our first day, we were greeted by someone whose appearance and attitude were completely out of line with the level of service we've experienced in other residences. We had excellent experiences in Arêches-Beaufort last year and in Le Corbier last week, with a much more professional and attentive welcome. Regarding the resort itself, there are a few nice hikes available, but the local offerings are quite limited: few shops, little entertainment, and a general atmosphere that we found rather dreary. In short: a very disappointing experience and a price/quality ratio that seems completely unjustified. We will not be returning and we do not recommend this residence.
