General Terms and Conditions of Sale – 2027 Season
ARTICLE 1. PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
These general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter the "GTCS") apply in full, from 31 March 2026, to all activities and services (hereinafter the "Services") organised within MMV establishments (hereinafter "MMV Establishment(s)") and sold to individual customers (hereinafter the "Customer(s)") by MMV (hereinafter the "Seller").
The opening dates of MMV Establishments for the 2026/2027 winter season are shown on our website www.mmv.fr.
The GTCS govern all sales of Services made by telephone through the Central Reservations Office, at the reception desk of the Seller's MMV Establishments, or online on the MMV website, accessible at www.mmv.fr (the "Website").
The Seller offers Customers (i) accommodation Services in the form of stays, (ii) in some cases, catering on a full-board or half-board basis, and (iii) any other additional services (wellness, ski lift passes, etc.).
For the purposes of the GTCS: "Stay" means a package travel arrangement as defined by Article L211-2 of the French Tourism Code, consisting of at least one night in one of the Seller's establishments, together with the provision of facilities and any additional services selected by the Customer; "Résidence Club Accommodation" means the rental of one or more apartments at one of the Seller's destinations, together with the provision of defined services and access to the residence's facilities; "Village Club Accommodation" means the provision of one or more rooms, with catering according to the selected plan (full board or half board) at one of the Seller's destinations, together with the provision of defined services and access to the Village Club's facilities; "Additional Services" means optional, paid services that the Customer may book at the time of booking, in addition to Résidence Club Accommodation or Village Club Accommodation. Any purchase of a Stay comprising any of the above Services implies the Customer's unreserved acceptance of the GTCS, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary.

An Order may only be placed by a natural person of legal age and legal capacity, for their own personal needs only. No minor may benefit from the Services without the presence of an adult.
A Customer may book up to a maximum of 15 paying guests per Order in Village Clubs. For any Order beyond this, the Group General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply (contact the Seller using the details given in Article 2 above).
Every Order must specify the selected Services, the date or period in which they are to be provided, the surname, first name, number and age of the beneficiaries (including newborns) at the time of the visit, and any other specific information expressly requested.
3.1. Pre-contractual information
The Customer is informed that, by purchasing Services offered as package travel (Stay), they benefit from the corresponding rights set out in the standard form reproduced in Annex 1 of these GTCS.
The information shown on the Website and in the booking summary, supplemented by these GTCS, constitutes the prior information required by Article R211-4 of the French Tourism Code.
Accordingly, the Customer acknowledges having received, prior to confirming the booking and entering into the contract, in a clear and comprehensible manner, the pre-contractual information listed in Article R211-4 of the French Tourism Code, and in particular:
- The destination, main characteristics and tourist category of the accommodation;
- The total price of the trip and the payment terms;
- The cancellation conditions;
- The services and meals included in the price of the trip;
- A description of the Additional Services available at extra cost;
- The option of taking out an insurance policy covering certain cases of Stay cancellation.
Customers are informed that accommodation in MMV Village Clubs or Résidences Club does not systematically include double beds. Accommodation for 4 or more people usually consists of a set of bunk beds and either twin beds or a double bed.
For the Customer's visual convenience, the Seller endeavours to publish online photos of the Services that correspond as closely as possible to the existing Products; however, photos are not contractually binding and the Seller shall in no event be held liable on the basis of these photos.
For the Customer's convenience, the Seller provides on its Website, for each MMV Establishment, information about cultural or sporting activities (other than those offered by the Seller) at the destination. This information is supplied by the destination's Tourist Office, and its content shall in no event engage MMV's liability.
For any purchase of Additional Services other than Stays, the Customer acknowledges having received, prior to confirming the booking and entering into the contract, in a clear and comprehensible manner, the pre-contractual information listed in Article L221-5 of the French Consumer Code, and in particular:
- The description and main characteristics of the Service;
- The price and date of performance;
- The existence and terms of exercise of the right of withdrawal.
Special requests (allocation of accommodation)
Apartments and rooms are allocated by MMV according to availability. This allocation may be changed at any time before the keys are actually handed over. MMV therefore cannot under any circumstances guarantee a specific location for the chosen accommodation. Only the location, dates and type of accommodation are guaranteed.
The Customer may submit a special request when booking (view, floor, adjoining accommodation, etc.). Such special requests regarding accommodation can never be guaranteed by MMV.
The team at the booked MMV Establishment will make its best efforts to meet the request; however, the request will be considered subject to feasibility and the organisation of rooms or apartments, and to the Village or Résidence Club's schedule.
Failure to meet the Customer's special request may not give rise to any complaint to our services.
3.2. Booking process
3.2.1. Ordering by telephone through the Seller's Central Reservations Office
The booking process comprises the following steps:
For any Order placed with the Central Reservations Office, the Customer states their search criteria, such as the destination, the category of MMV establishment sought, the dates, the number of beneficiaries and any other information the Central Reservations Office may need to provide a Stay proposal. The Central Reservations Office sends a quote to the email address provided by the Customer, together with the description of the chosen Establishment, the general terms and conditions of sale and the terms for taking out cancellation insurance. The Customer may place an option on the Stay as set out in the quote. This option (72 hours from the date the quote is received) holds the Services as defined in the quote for the duration of the Option. At the latest when the option period expires, the Customer may decide either to confirm the booking or not to proceed. In the latter case, the Services covered by the quote are released and put back on sale. If the Customer confirms the Stay, they click the "I confirm my stay" link in the email received as part of their option; they are then shown the summary of their stay, the total price payable, acceptance of these GTCS and the payment link if they wish to pay by bank card. In accordance with Article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code, the Customer may check the details of their Order and its total price and, where applicable, correct any errors before confirming it, thereby expressing their acceptance. If the Customer wishes to use another means of payment as defined in Article 5 below, they must inform the Seller. If the Customer does not wish to take an option, the Seller, after communicating the pre-contractual information, invites the Customer to consult these GTCS on the Website. Once the Customer has agreed to place the Order on the terms communicated, the Customer pays remotely in accordance with Article 5.
3.2.2. Online ordering
For any online Order, the Customer is asked to enter their email address and, where applicable, to log in via a personal customer account creation form. The Customer may also place their Order in "Guest" mode. In accordance with Article 1127-2 of the French Civil Code, the Customer may check the details of their Order and its total price and, where applicable, correct any errors before confirming it, thereby expressing their acceptance. To finalise the Order, the Customer must read the GTCS, including the mandatory pre-contractual information, accept them by ticking the boxes provided, and pay in accordance with Article 5.
3.3. Ordering at the reception desk of an MMV establishment
The Customer may place an Order directly at the reception desk of the MMV establishment at which they wish to book, and for no other MMV establishment. The Customer states their search criteria, such as dates, the number of beneficiaries and any other information the MMV Establishment may need to provide a Stay proposal. The MMV Establishment's reception sends the Customer a quote to the email address provided, together with the description of the chosen Establishment, the general terms and conditions of sale and the terms for taking out cancellation insurance.
The Customer may place an option on the Stay as set out in the quote. This option (72 hours or 7 days from the date the quote is received) holds the Services as defined in the quote for the duration of the Option. If the Customer does not wish to take an option, the Seller, after communicating the pre-contractual information, invites the Customer to consult these GTCS on the Website. Once the Customer has agreed to place the Order on the terms communicated, the Customer pays remotely in accordance with Article 5.
3.4. Order confirmation
The Order only becomes firm and final once the Seller has received the first deposit. The contract of sale is then deemed to be concluded. For any Order of Services placed online or remotely, the Customer receives an email confirmation of the Order summarising the purchases made, the price applied and the main characteristics of the Services ordered.
For every Order, the confirmation email includes proof of payment and a description of the Services ordered.
The Order confirmation email received by the Customer constitutes proof of the entire transaction in accordance with Law no. 2000-230 of 13 March 2000 and is the only document that shall be authoritative in the event of a dispute.
ARTICLE 4. PRICE OF SERVICES
The applicable rates shown in the Seller's brochures, communication materials and Website are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Generally, and unless otherwise specified, the price of the Services does not include charges and tourist tax, the security deposit, personal expenses, insurance and Additional Services.
"Partner" benefits and promotions cannot be applied to a booking that has already been paid in whole or in part.
4.1. Definition of MMV Service rates
Prices for the booking of Services and Additional Services are shown before, during and after booking. For Résidence Club Accommodation and Village Club Services, prices are per room or apartment for the number of people and the date selected. When a Stay booking is confirmed, the total price is shown to the Customer inclusive of all taxes in the local currency of the MMV Establishment and is valid only for the period indicated on the Site. Currency exchange fees are payable by the Customer if the Customer is located in a non-EU country. The tourist tax, shown during the booking process, is payable directly on site at the MMV Establishment. Prices take into account the VAT applicable on the date the booking is invoiced.
4.2. Stays and Résidence Club or Village Club Accommodation
In accordance with Article L211-12 of the French Tourism Code, the Seller reserves the right to change the price of the Stay, upwards or downwards, according to changes in:
- The cost of transport (where applicable);
- The related fees and taxes;
- Exchange rates, where applicable.
In the event of an increase, whenever it occurs, a clear and comprehensible justification statement will be provided to the Customer on a durable medium at least twenty days before the start of the stay.
The price of a Stay includes at a minimum:
- Résidence Club or Village Club Accommodation, as stated in the Order;
- Access to the services and facilities of the Résidence Club or Village Club as described on the Website.
Child rates in Village Clubs: child rates and free places apply only to children sharing a room with two persons paying the adult rate, up to a maximum of three children per room. The child rate applies according to the child's age on the arrival date of the Stay. If the child has not been charged (free accommodation), any Additional Services consumed must be paid for on site in addition.
For single-parent bookings (only one adult in the room), a child who must pay the adult rate receives a special discount of 15% to 25% on the adult full-board rate.
Kids' Clubs: free access to the Kids, Junior, Ado or Teens Clubs is reserved as a priority for customers who have booked at least one full week's stay.
For access to the Baby Club, Customers are advised to book a place when booking their Stay.
Ski lift passes and ski equipment hire: MMV Establishments are authorised to sell ski lift passes for the destination where they are located and to book ski equipment for their Customers with their partners. The booking of these Additional Services is subject to MMV's general terms and conditions of sale.
When the Customer books ski services (through the Central Reservations Office or the Website), they are asked to check the start date of these services in the "Booked Services" section of their confirmation and to contact us no later than 7 days before the start of their stay for any changes.
For week-long stays (7 days, 7 nights), ski lift passes are sold for 6 days. The ski lift pass starts on the day after arrival and ends on the evening before departure (the same applies to stays of 5 and 6 nights). For stays of 1 to 4 nights and for stays of 8 nights, ski services start on the Customer's day of arrival.
The same applies to ski equipment hire. The Customer may collect their equipment from MMV's partner from 6 pm on the day of arrival and must return it at the end of the day before departure.
MMV cannot be held liable for theft of or damage to ski equipment. To cover this kind of inconvenience, we can offer suitable insurance at the time of booking.
Please note that ski lift passes and ski equipment are booked on a named basis. It is therefore essential to provide accurately, at the time of booking, the surnames, first names, dates of birth and skiing level of the customers associated with these services, as well as their height and any other personal information needed to provide personalised equipment. MMV cannot be held liable for any omission or incorrect information provided by the Customer.
Lost or unused ski lift passes and unused ski equipment cannot under any circumstances be refunded by MMV.
In the event of closure of the ski area during the stay, MMV will refund its customers on the basis of the actual refund granted to MMV by the ski lift operator.
4.3. Pre-authorisation
To cover extras, excessive cleaning at the end of the stay and/or all or part of any damage that may be caused by the Customer or any of the beneficiaries during the Customer's stay in Résidence Club Accommodation or Village Club Accommodation, the Customer will be asked on arrival for a pre-authorisation on their bank card for an amount between €300 and €2,000 depending on the type of accommodation provided.
This amount will be released to the Customer on the day of departure if no sums remain due and if no damage has been found after departure in the room(s) occupied by the Customer in Village Club Accommodation, in the apartment(s) occupied in Résidence Club Accommodation, or in the common areas. However, the time it takes for this amount to reappear on the bank account may vary depending on the Customer's bank.
All or part of this amount will be charged to the Customer's account if, at the end of the Customer's stay, the staff of the MMV establishment where the Customer stayed find unpaid consumption, a room or apartment left in such a condition that end-of-stay cleaning is not sufficient to make it saleable again, and/or damage caused in the room(s) or apartment(s) occupied by the Customer and their beneficiaries and/or in the common areas. An email will be sent to the Customer at the email address provided at booking, informing them of the findings and the sums due as a result. The email will also inform the Customer that a charge will be made within 24 hours. An additional amount may be requested if the sums held are not sufficient to cover the sums still due. The Seller will provide the Customer with all supporting documents for its claim.
4.4. Other deposits
For Village Club Accommodation, an additional security deposit of €200 may be requested for the provision of certain equipment. This deposit will be returned at the end of the Stay provided the equipment has been returned by the Customer during the Stay and/or at the latest at check-out.
For Résidence Club Accommodation, an additional security deposit will be requested from the Customer if they wish to bring their pet. "Pet" means cats and dogs, excluding category 1 and 2 dogs. The Animal must be over 3 months old, tattooed or microchipped, with identification papers and all documents showing compliance with vaccination requirements. Any Animal not meeting these criteria or considered a New Companion Animal (NAC) within the meaning of the applicable laws and regulations will not be accepted.
4.5. Early arrival, late departure
Where the Service is offered, the Customer may request "early arrival" (Early Check-In) and/or "late departure" (Late Check-Out) at the time of booking, allowing them to access and/or keep the room or apartment for longer than the usual times.
Booking the early arrival or late departure service is subject to availability.
The service is charged as an Additional Service.
Early arrival allows the customer to have their room from 1 pm instead of 5 pm.
The "Early arrival" service and its price are shown among the optional Services offered to the Customer when booking.
Late departure allows the customer to keep their room until 12 noon instead of 10 am.
Any occupation of the room or apartment beyond the above times will result in the full price of the room or apartment being charged for an additional day.
4.6. Best Price Guarantee
If the Customer finds their stay cheaper for the same dates, with the same rate, payment and cancellation conditions, identical services and the same beneficiaries (in number and age), within 7 days of their own booking and more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, MMV undertakes to refund the Customer the difference (refund if the balance has already been paid, deduction from the final amount payable where applicable). The Customer may only claim this Best Price Guarantee if they booked with the Seller via the Seller's Website or its contact centre. The Customer must send MMV by email all evidence justifying the price difference (e.g. screenshots showing the website on which the offer was found, the site operator's legal notice, the presentation of the offer, the rate conditions, the cancellation conditions, etc.) as at the date on which the offer was found. The Seller will review the documents provided by the Customer and will notify its decision whether or not to grant the Customer's request within 7 days of receiving the documents. Any refusal to grant the "Best Price" guarantee will be justified by the Seller.
ARTICLE 5. PAYMENT TERMS AND METHODS
If the Order is placed more than 30 days before the departure date, the payment terms are as follows: for an Order of Résidence Club Accommodation, or Village Club Accommodation on a full-board basis, a deposit of 30% of the amount invoiced for accommodation only (Apartment for Résidence Club or Room for Village Club) is due on the booking date, except for "Non-Cancellable, Non-Refundable" bookings, which are payable in full at the time of booking. Likewise, a deposit of 10% of the amount of optional Services is due on the same date. The balance of the invoice is due no later than 30 days before the Stay date. The Seller will send an email reminder of the obligation to pay the balance. If the Customer does not pay the balance, their Order will be cancelled and the Seller may put the cancelled Services back on sale.
For a non-cancellable, non-refundable rate (where available), which can only be booked up to 15 days before the departure date, the total price of the stay is due upon confirmation of the booking.
If the Order is placed less than 30 days before the departure date, the payment terms are as follows: the price must be paid in full in a single payment.
Payment for the Order is made in euros at the time the Order is placed.
For individual bookings, the available payment methods are:
- Booking through the Central Reservations Office: bank card (Visa, Eurocard/MasterCard), ANCV Chèques Vacances Connect, ANCV, bank cheque, bank transfer;

5.1. Bank card
Unless otherwise indicated at the time of Order, only CARTE BLEUE/VISA and EUROCARD/MASTERCARD network bank cards are accepted. The Customer's bank account will be debited with the price of the Order upon its final validation. For any Order placed at the reception desk of an MMV Establishment, proof of payment is issued to the Customer immediately after payment, if requested, in accordance with Article L541-15-10 of the French Environmental Code. For any online Order, proof of payment is automatically available to the Customer upon completion of the Order, on the confirmation page and in the individual customer account created for this purpose on the Seller's Website. For any remote Order, the Customer receives proof of payment by email if they have an email address or, if they do not, by post within eight (8) days of payment of the Order upon express request.

5.2.3. Cash
Cash payments made by a Customer whose tax residence is in France are limited to €1,000 per Order in accordance with Articles L112-6 and D112-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code. Cash payment within the authorised limit is possible at the reception desk of the MMV Establishment and nowhere else.
5.3. Bank transfer / ANCV
To pay for the Order by bank transfer and/or with paper ANCV holiday vouchers, the Customer must send the said means of payment to the Seller no later than 72 working hours after placing the Order, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to 51 Avenue France d'Outre-Mer – BP 39 – 06701 Saint Laurent du Var Cedex. The Order only becomes final once the Seller has received payment. When placing the Order, the Customer must ensure that their payment will reach the Seller early enough to meet the payment deadlines set out above. If payment reaches the Seller too late, the Order will be cancelled.
The Customer is informed that for any Order placed via the Seller's Website, they may pay for their Order with digital ANCV vouchers. The Customer must tick the box corresponding to the chosen payment method and enter the reference number of each digital ANCV holiday voucher in the fields provided.
The Customer is informed that the Seller cannot give change on these payment methods if the total value of the holiday vouchers exceeds the total value of the Order.
5.4. Payment security
Electronic payments made for Orders by telephone with the Contact Centre or online on the Seller's Website are secured by an encryption process guaranteeing the confidentiality and security of data.
ARTICLE 6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For any remote purchase (on the Website or by telephone) of Résidence Club or Village Club Accommodation, with or without optional services, and in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the remote purchase of "accommodation services other than residential accommodation, transport of goods, car rental, catering or leisure activities" ordered as a package or separately, for a specific date or period. Consequently, the Customer does not benefit from a withdrawal period for Stay Orders.
ARTICLE 7. CHANGES TO SERVICES
7.1. Changes at the Customer's request
Changes before the Stay date: any request to change the Stay relating to Résidence Club Accommodation or Village Club Accommodation, or to Additional Services, must be sent by email to courrier@mmv.fr or made by telephone to our Central Reservations Office on +33 (0)4 92 12 62 12 (standard rate, cost of a local call) from 9 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday and from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday. Changes are made subject to availability of the Services and payment of any price supplement resulting from the change.
Where such changes involve a change of date or of stay location, fees may be charged as follows:
| Date the change request is received from the Customer | Administration fees per booking |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days before the start of the Stay | €20 incl. VAT change fee |
| 59 to 31 days before the start of the Stay | 10% of the total Order price |
| 30 to 16 days before the start of the Stay | 15% of the total Order price |
| 15 days to the day before the start of the Stay | 20% of the total Order price |
The change only takes effect on the date the amount corresponding to the administration fees and, where applicable, the price difference resulting from the change is received. For any change request resulting in a lower Stay price, the Seller, after applying the administration fees, undertakes to refund the price difference as soon as possible.
"Non-Cancellable, Non-Refundable" bookings
For "Non-Cancellable, Non-Refundable" bookings, no change of dates or destination is possible. Any change to these elements is treated as a cancellation.
Changes after the start of the stay: any interrupted stay or Service not used by the Customer for a reason not attributable to the Seller shall not give rise to any refund. Any Customer who does not arrive on the scheduled date at the booked location without informing the Seller will be charged 100% of the amount of their Order (including the order of optional Services).
7.2. Changes by the Seller
Changes before the Customer's Stay date: in accordance with Article L211-13 of the French Tourism Code, the Seller reserves the right to unilaterally change the terms of performance of the Stay. The Seller will inform the Customer of any minor changes made. The Customer may not claim any compensation as a result of changes made by the Seller.
Where, in accordance with Article R211-9 of the French Tourism Code, the Seller is compelled to change one of the essential elements of the Stay ordered by the Customer or cannot meet the Customer's special requirements that it has accepted, the Seller will inform the Customer clearly and comprehensibly of:
- The changes made and, where applicable, their impact on the price of the Stay;
- The period within which the Customer must respond to the seller regarding their choice;
- The conditions for cancellation free of charge if the changes are refused.
The Customer has the right to refuse the proposed change and to obtain a full refund of the price paid within a maximum of fourteen (14) days. If the Customer accepts the changes to the Services made by the Seller, a new Order confirmation will be sent with all the required information.
Where the changes result in a lower quality of the Services originally planned or a lower price, the Customer is entitled to an appropriate price reduction.
ARTICLE 8. CANCELLATION OF SERVICES
8.1. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellation before the start of the stay: the Customer may cancel their Stay by sending a written request by email to courrier@mmv.fr. However, certain promotional offers for Stays or Accommodation may be subject to specific cancellation conditions that derogate from the provisions of this article. The Customer is therefore invited to consult the conditions of each promotional offer and its change and cancellation conditions.
In accordance with Article L211-14-I of the French Tourism Code, the Customer may cancel their Stay at any time before the scheduled arrival date subject to payment of cancellation fees according to the following scale:
| Date the cancellation request is received from the Customer | Cancellation fee (%) |
|---|---|
| More than 60 days before the start of the Stay | 0% |
| 59 to 31 days before the start of the Stay | 30% |
| 30 to 16 days before the start of the Stay | 70% |
| 15 days to the scheduled arrival date | 100% |
8.2. Cancellation by the Seller
In accordance with Articles R211-11 and R211-7 of the French Tourism Code, if the Seller is compelled to cancel the Services, it will inform the Customer as soon as possible. In this case, the Customer will be refunded all sums paid within a maximum of fourteen (14) days and may claim compensation at least equal to what the Customer would have had to pay had the cancellation been made by the Customer on the same date.
ARTICLE 9. BEST SNOW GUARANTEE
If, within 7 days before departure, the Customer sees on the MMV Website, in the "resort" section for their destination, that 50% or more of the slopes in the ski area attached to their destination (excluding areas linked to the destination's ski area) are closed for at least 4 consecutive days, MMV undertakes to offer the Customer another MMV destination (of the same category: Village Club or Résidence Club) for identical services, the same number of beneficiaries and the same optional Services. If the Seller is unable to offer such a solution, it will make the Customer an offer at an establishment of a different category. In this case, if the value of the offer is lower, the Seller undertakes to refund the Customer in MMV vouchers; if the value of the offer is higher, the Seller will cover the price difference within the limit of the Services originally chosen by the Customer.
If the Seller is unable to offer the Customer any solution, it undertakes to refund the Customer the amount of the booked Stay in MMV vouchers if the Customer wishes to cancel their stay.
Transport costs are not covered by the Seller and remain payable by the Customer.
This guarantee does not apply to Stays during the first weeks of opening of the ski area concerned, up to and including the first Saturday in January.
To benefit from this guarantee, the Customer must send by email to courrier@mmv.fr screenshots showing slope openings for 4 consecutive days within the 7 days preceding the start date of the Customer's stay at the booked destination. These screenshots must be sent no later than 3 days before the Customer's arrival at their original destination, so that the Seller can offer the Customer another destination.
ARTICLE 10. PETS
Pets are not allowed in Village Clubs, except guide dogs or assistance dogs.
In MMV Résidences Club, pets are welcome, limited to one animal per accommodation, subject to a supplement per animal, per day or per week depending on the MMV Establishment chosen, payable at the time of booking or on site upon arrival. Accepted animals are tattooed, vaccinated dogs or cats; their health record must be presented. They are allowed on a lead in the common areas but are not allowed near swimming pools. Owners are responsible for the behaviour and cleanliness of their animals. We reserve the right to refuse and/or expel animals that are dangerous, aggressive or more generally disruptive to the proper operation of the Residence, and to charge for end-of-stay cleaning if the condition of the apartment warrants it.
ARTICLE 11. TRANSFER OF STAY
In accordance with Articles L211-11 and R211-7 of the French Tourism Code, the Customer may transfer this contract, provided it has not yet taken effect, up to seven (7) days before the start of the Stay, to a person who meets the same conditions to carry out the Stay.
The transferring Customer must inform the Seller of the transfer by any means providing an acknowledgement of receipt, no later than seven (7) days before the start of the Stay. The transferring Customer and the transferee are jointly and severally liable for payment of the balance of the Stay and all fees, costs and taxes relating to the transfer. As transfer fees may vary depending on how long before the Stay the transfer occurs, the final amount will be communicated to the Customer when they submit their request to the Seller.
ARTICLE 12. STAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE
12.1. Subscription conditions
When booking with the Seller, the Customer may take out cancellation insurance with Assurinco (Mutuaide Assistance), 126 rue de la Piazza – CS 20010 – 93196 Noisy le Grand Cedex, Telephone: +33 (0)1 55 98 88 21, policy no. 5187, covering in particular:
- Cancellation of the Stay;
- Late arrival;
- Interruption of the Stay.
The contractual terms of the guarantees and exclusions of the cancellation insurance contract are available via this link: GTCS.
To activate the cancellation insurance, the Customer must inform the Seller of the cancellation of their stay and then request that a claim be opened with Vac'Assur under the conditions set out in the guarantees offered by Assurinco. The table of guarantees and excesses applicable per covered event is attached in the link referred to above.
Once taken out, the insurance cannot be changed or cancelled except in the cases of waiver referred to in Article 13.2 below. The insurance premium remains systematically non-refundable.
13.2. Cases of waiver
13.2.1. Multiple insurance
Before taking out the insurance contract offered by the Seller, the Customer is advised to check that they do not already benefit from cover for the risks covered by the insurance contract offered by the Seller.
In accordance with Article L112-10 of the French Insurance Code, a Customer who, for non-professional purposes, takes out an insurance contract that supplements a good or service sold by the Seller may, if they can prove prior cover for any of the risks covered by the insurance contract, waive that contract without fees or penalties as long as it has not been fully performed and the Customer has not made any claim under it. This waiver must be made within fourteen (14) calendar days of the conclusion of the insurance contract and must be accompanied by proof of an existing insurance contract covering risks similar to the contract taken out through the Seller.
13.2.2. Distance selling
In accordance with Article L112-2-1 of the French Insurance Code, a right of waiver applies to insurance policies concluded remotely, in particular sold online, without the simultaneous physical presence of the contracting parties. This right of waiver does not apply to travel or baggage insurance contracts or similar short-term insurance policies lasting less than one (1) month. The term of the insurance contract corresponds to the period between its subscription date and the date on which all guarantees cease.
13.2.3. Exercising the right of waiver
Where the insurance contract is eligible for the right of waiver under the conditions defined above, the Customer may exercise this right by sending a duly completed, dated and signed waiver request before the expiry of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of subscription of the insurance contract, by email to courrier@mmv.fr.
ARTICLE 13. LIABILITY
The Seller is responsible for the proper performance of the Services ordered by the Customer and must provide assistance to any Customer in difficulty under the conditions set out in Article 15 of the GTCS. The Seller is liable for any error due to technical defects in the booking system attributable to it. In accordance with Article L211-16, II of the French Tourism Code, the Customer shall inform the Seller as soon as possible, given the circumstances, of any lack of conformity found during the performance of a service included in the Stay. In this case, the Seller shall remedy the lack of conformity unless this is impossible or entails disproportionate costs; in the latter case, the Customer may request a price reduction and, in the event of separate damage, damages in accordance with Article L211-17 of the French Tourism Code. The Seller alone is entitled to determine the operating and maintenance conditions of its MMV Establishment according to its needs and/or constraints, and alone decides (i) the opening calendar and public opening hours of its Establishment and the various facilities it offers within it; (ii) the services it offers and their conditions of use; (iii) the rates and terms of sale of the Services it offers; (iv) the programme of maintenance, repair, rehabilitation and renovation of all or part of the equipment and/or the building; (v) the implementation of standards and rules concerning in particular the safety and health of persons and property. The Seller may, at its sole discretion, decide to close all or part of its Establishment to the public for as long as necessary, in particular to carry out work necessary for the safety and protection of visitors, or related to the maintenance, repair or renovation of all or part of the equipment, or in the event of bad weather conditions or force majeure requiring the Seller to close its Establishment fully or partially. In any event, and excluding bodily injury and intentional damage, the Seller's liability is limited to a maximum amount equal to three (3) times the price of the Services ordered that gave rise to compensable damage.
The Customer is responsible for the Orders they place in light of the pre-contractual information provided to them and their needs. The Customer remains responsible for their personal belongings.
The Customer is not permitted to resell Stays acquired through Orders previously placed. In the event of a proven breach, the Seller reserves the right to assert its rights before any competent court.
Throughout the Stay, minors remain the responsibility of the persons accompanying them. Furthermore, minors are not permitted to stay alone in Résidence Club Accommodation or Village Club Accommodation.
During their Stay, the Customer and all persons accompanying them must comply with the internal rules applicable within the MMV Résidence Club or Village Club. Any breach of the internal rules, in particular any assault on the Seller's staff, may lead to the expulsion of the Customer and their beneficiaries, without the Seller being required to provide any refund or compensation on this account.
ARTICLE 14. ASSISTANCE
In accordance with Article L211-17-1 of the French Tourism Code, the Seller is obliged to provide assistance to a Customer in difficulty. To do so, the traveller must contact Customer Service.
The assistance owed by the Seller consists in particular of:
- Providing useful information on health services, local authorities and consular assistance;
- Helping the Customer make long-distance communications and find alternative travel arrangements.
In this respect, the Seller is entitled to charge a reasonable fee corresponding to actual costs for this assistance if the difficulty is caused intentionally by the Customer or through their negligence.
ARTICLE 15. UNAVOIDABLE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances means any situation beyond the control of the Customer, the Seller and any service provider involved in the performance of the Order, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken, and which prevent the performance of all or part of the obligations under the contract.
This shall include in particular: force majeure, or climatic, geographical, health or political conditions in the immediate vicinity of the destination likely to endanger the Customer's life. In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, the right to terminate the contract free of charge provided for in Article L211-14 II of the French Tourism Code is available to both the Seller and the Customer. The assessment of whether such circumstances have occurred shall be based solely on objective evidence.
ARTICLE 16. EVIDENCE, STORAGE AND ARCHIVING
In accordance with Article L213-1 of the French Consumer Code, for any Order placed online on the Seller's Website for an amount of €120 or more, the Seller shall retain the written record of the Customer's Order for ten years from the delivery covered by the Order and guarantee the Customer access to it at any time during that period.
ARTICLE 17. TERMINATION CLAUSE
Except in cases of force majeure, if the Seller fails to fulfil its obligation to provide the Services on the date or within the period indicated to the Customer, the Customer may, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or in writing on another durable medium, (i) notify the Seller that payment of all or part of the price is suspended until the Seller performs, or (ii) terminate the contract if, after having ordered the Seller, in the same manner, to provide the Services within a reasonable additional period, the Seller has not performed within that period. The contract is deemed terminated upon receipt by the Seller of the letter or written notice informing it of the termination, unless the Seller has performed in the meantime. However, the Customer may terminate the contract immediately if the Seller refuses to provide the Services or fails to fulfil its obligation to provide the Services on the date or within the period indicated to the Customer, and that date or period constitutes an essential condition of the contract for the Customer. This essential condition results from the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the contract or from an express request by the Customer before the conclusion of the contract (Article L216-6 of the French Consumer Code).
ARTICLE 18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The Seller's Website is governed by French copyright and intellectual property law. Any full or partial reproduction of trademarks, logos or distinctive signs from the Website without the Seller's express written authorisation is therefore prohibited within the meaning of Article L713-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
ARTICLE 19. PERSONAL DATA
Compagnie des Alpes (RCS Paris 349 577 908) and MMV (a subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes), as joint controllers, process personal data in connection with the marketing and operation of the products and services of MMV Résidences and Villages Club. This processing is described in the personal data protection policy, Personal Data Protection – MMV, available on our website and at reception.
In accordance with the applicable personal data protection regulations, you have the right to access information concerning you, as well as the right to rectification, objection, restriction of processing and erasure, which you may exercise by contacting our data protection officer via the Exercise your rights form, at dpo@mmv.fr, or by post at: Compagnie des Alpes, Service Protection des données, 50/52 Boulevard Haussmann – 75009 PARIS.
ARTICLE 20. COMPLAINTS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If, upon arrival on Site or during their stay, the Customer finds a lack of conformity with the Services booked (details of the booked Services are set out in the order description), they are advised to contact the on-site teams so that a solution can be found as soon as possible.
Any complaint relating to the booking or performance of the Services must be sent to the Seller's Complaints Department (MMV, 51 Avenue France d'Outre-Mer – BP39 – 06701 Saint Laurent du Var Cedex) by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within twenty (20) days of the performance of the Services, together with all supporting documents (Order, emails, etc.) (i) issued to the Customer in connection with their Order and (ii) proving that the complaint is well-founded (medical certificate, photograph, official report, etc.), failing which the complaint will not be processed. For any Order placed online, complaints may also be made on the Seller's Website (in the "Contact" section). Any Customer who has not received a satisfactory response to their complaint within sixty (60) days of referral to the Seller's Complaints Department may use a conventional mediation procedure free of charge, under the conditions of Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, or any other alternative dispute resolution method. The Customer is informed of the possibility of using a mediation procedure with the Tourism and Travel Mediator in accordance with the procedure set out at www.mtv.travel/je-saisis-le-mediateur/ (MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage – Service dépôt des saisines, CS 30958 – 75383 PARIS Cedex 08, email: info@mtv.travel, tel.: +33 (0)1 42 67 96 68), within a maximum of one year from the written complaint made to the Seller. If they wish, the Customer may also use the online dispute resolution service provided by the European Commission in accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013. This platform is accessible at the following link: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/.
Any disputes that may arise from Orders placed under these GTCS and that could not be resolved amicably between the Seller and the Customer shall be submitted to the competent courts under ordinary law.
For the purposes of these GTCS, the Seller elects domicile at its registered office, as stated in Article 2 of these GTCS.
ARTICLE 21. APPLICABLE LAW
All sales of Services made to the Customer under the GTCS are governed by French law.

All our establishments are non-smoking.
These reception conditions are supplemented by the internal rules applicable in each MMV Establishment.
1. In MMV Village Clubs and Residences
MMV brochures and the Website provide descriptions of each Résidence Club and Village Club. Please refer to them for the specific features (Services, Facilities, address, etc.) of each Establishment.
For the Customer's convenience, MMV provides on its Website, for each MMV Establishment, information about cultural or sporting activities (other than those offered by the Seller) at the destination. This information is supplied by the resorts' Tourist Offices, and its content shall in no event engage MMV's liability.
The team at the booked MMV Establishment will make its best efforts to meet the request; however, the request will be considered subject to feasibility and the organisation of rooms or apartments, and to the Village or Residence's schedule.
Failure to meet the Customer's special request may not give rise to any complaint to our services.
MMV offers family-oriented stays, and the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. Customers are therefore asked to respect the peace and quiet of other Customers and staff.
Each MMV Establishment has general internal rules and specific rules for the facilities made available to Customers.
Compliance with these rules is an essential condition. Any breach by the Customer and/or their beneficiaries may lead to the exclusion of the Customer and their beneficiaries.

IMPORTANT: You must report any missing items or anomalies to the on-site manager within 24 hours of arrival.
On the day of departure, the accommodation must be returned clean and in good condition, and the inventory and condition report checked. Please note that if the accommodation is not returned in a decent state of cleanliness and/or the kitchen area has not been tidied and/or cleaned and the dishwasher emptied, we will have to charge a kitchen-area cleaning fee starting at €100. Likewise, for any damaged equipment not reported as such on arrival, the Establishment reserves the right to deduct the cost of repair from the deposit.
All accommodation is non-smoking; any breach of this rule will be charged at €100 per accommodation on departure or deducted from the deposit paid on arrival.
Please note that the description specifies the maximum number of beds per type, and that for safety reasons the chosen accommodation may under no circumstances be occupied by more people than stated in the booking.
4. Wellness and Spa facilities and equipment
Some MMV Establishments offer a swimming pool to their Customers.
For hygiene and safety reasons, access to the pool is subject to compliance with the pool access rules displayed at the entrance to the aquatic area. Any breach will result in exclusion from the pool.
The pool is not supervised. Everyone is responsible for their own safety. Children are not allowed in the pool unless accompanied by an adult. Children remain under the supervision of their parents and accompanying adults.
Some MMV Establishments offer access to Wellness and Spa equipment and services. These facilities have rules displayed at the entrance to the area. Customers must read and comply with them.
Depending on the destination, access to Wellness and Spa facilities is either free or by reservation, subject to availability and within the limits of contraindications to these services.
Any breach of the internal rules of the Wellness and Spa facilities may result in a ban on access or exclusion from these facilities.
Swimwear and non-slip sandals are compulsory; mobile phones, food and drinks other than those provided within the area are prohibited.
Pursuant to Article 16 of Law no. 96-603 of 5 July 1996, as amended on 4 March 2010, the term "massage" means any modelling technique performed exclusively for aesthetic and comfort purposes, excluding any medical or therapeutic purpose, by qualified wellness masseurs or beauticians. Services are paid for at the time of booking.
Any appointment cancelled without a medical certificate, any change of time not made 24 hours in advance, or any missed appointment will not be replaced or refunded, and the booked service will be charged in full.
Opening days and hours given in sales documents or stay confirmations are for information only; the MMV team at your destination may have to change them at any time.
5. Kids' clubs
Access to the Kids, Junior, Ados or Teens Clubs is reserved as a priority for customers who have booked at least one full week's stay.
For access to the Baby Club, the Customer is advised to book a place when booking the Stay. All conditions can be found at www.mmv.fr.
Except where expressly entrusted to our activity leaders, children are entirely the responsibility of their parents.
For their own safety, children with food allergies must be looked after by their parents at mealtimes and snack times.
7. Ski lift passes and ski equipment hire (Winter 2026/2027)
MMV Establishments are authorised to sell ski lift passes for the destination where they are located and to book your ski equipment with their partners. The booking of these optional Services is subject to MMV's general terms and conditions of sale.
When you book ski services (through the Central Reservations Office or the Website), please check the start date of these services in the "Booked Services" section of your confirmation and contact us no later than 7 days before the start of your stay for any changes.
You can collect your equipment from MMV's partner from 6 pm on the day of arrival and must return it at the end of the day before departure.
ANNEX 1 – Standard information form for package travel contracts concluded on the Website www.mmv.fr or by telephone on +33 (0)4 92 12 65 30 (free number)
The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and Article L211-2 II of the French Tourism Code.
You will therefore benefit from all EU rights applying to packages, as transposed into the French Tourism Code.
MMV will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. In addition, as required by law, MMV has protection in place to refund your payments should it become insolvent.
Key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302 as transposed into the French Tourism Code:
Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the package travel contract. Both the organiser and the retailer are responsible for the proper performance of all travel services included in the contract.
Travellers are given an emergency telephone number or details of a contact point where they can reach the organiser or the retailer.
Travellers may transfer the package to another person, on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.
The price of the package may only be increased if specific costs rise (for instance, fuel prices) and if expressly provided for in the contract, and in any event not later than 20 days before the start of the package. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the price of the package, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the organiser reserves the right to a price increase, the traveller is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs decrease.
Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee and receive a full refund of any payments if any of the essential elements of the package, other than the price, are significantly changed. If, before the start of the package, the trader responsible for the package cancels it, travellers are entitled to a refund and compensation where appropriate.
Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee before the start of the package in the event of extraordinary circumstances, for instance if there are serious security problems at the destination which are likely to affect the package.
Additionally, travellers may at any time before the start of the package terminate the contract in return for an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.
If, after the start of the package, significant elements of it cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternative arrangements will have to be offered to travellers at no extra cost. Travellers may terminate the contract without paying any termination fee where services are not performed in accordance with the contract, this substantially affects the performance of the package and the organiser fails to remedy the problem.
Travellers are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages where the travel services are not performed or are improperly performed.
The organiser or the retailer must provide assistance if the traveller is in difficulty. If the organiser or the retailer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organiser or the retailer becomes insolvent after the start of the package and if transport is included in the package, repatriation of the travellers is secured.
