Sacha the cat’s not-so-silly tips (how to prepare your stay properly)
(or: how to get ready for your holiday)

Getting ready for the journey (yes, there will be traffic…)

  • Check road conditions: Waze, Google Maps or Bison Futé… whatever you choose, make sure you’re well informed before you leave and follow the guidance.
  • A pair of snow chains, snow socks (or winter tyres): these items are mandatory… but above all essential to reach your destination safely!

Tip: keep them at the front of your luggage rather than at the back. A pair of gloves, a headlamp and a bit of dry practice will make fitting chains much easier!

In case of traffic jams, don’t panic! Just let us know (all contact details are available in your accommodation’s online welcome guide).

Before you leave

To save time on arrival, take a few minutes to check in online: click and go to the “Arrival: Pre Check-in” icon.

The more you handle in advance, the sooner you’ll be relaxing, eating, having fun, singing, and dancing…

Pre check-in

Don’t forget

A backpack — the essential item!
Perfect for removing a layer if you’re too warm and carrying your water bottle.

Tip: many resorts are removing bins on the slopes to prevent them from being blown into nature. Your backpack will help you bring your waste back and sort it later.

Plastic isn’t fantastic. Prefer reusable water bottles—you can refill them at our water fountains.

Holidays mean memories! Don’t forget chargers for your electronic devices.

Insurance policy number: our “Vac’Assur” multi-risk policy is number 5187. If you forgot to subscribe, don’t worry—we also offer last-minute Surf&Ski insurance (policy 5507), covering your entire stay.

Children

Comfort items (blanket, dummy): essential travel companions for kids!

Tip: pack them in a small backpack that children can use for their club days.

Extra tip: bring nappies, wipes (or other magical lotions), and spare clothes just in case.

  • Baby food: no need to bring any if you stay in a Village Club—you’ll find BABYBIO jars (sweet and savoury) every day in the Baby Corner of our restaurants.
  • Baby kit: save space in your car and book our baby kit in advance. Changing mat and potty will be in your accommodation, while bottle warmers and high chairs are available in the restaurant or on request.

Club registration: register your children in advance at inscription-clubs.mmv.fr.
If you forget, don’t worry—we’ll sort it out on site.

Health record booklet: not always top of mind, but better to have it and not need it than the opposite.
For children enrolled in clubs (especially Baby Club), it is mandatory.

Pool and spa

  • Flip-flops only: yes for skiing, but first for water!

Any shoes other than flip-flops (trainers, ski boots, hiking shoes, heels, ballet flats…) are not allowed in the pool area.

Tip: if you book treatments after 4 p.m., towels are provided.

On arrival

Check key handover times in your accommodation’s online welcome guide: https://www.mmv.fr/application-mmv#hiver

If space allows, you can unload your car in front of the club entrance.
For check-in, only one representative per family is needed.

Must-dos

  • Information meeting: meet the team and get all the tips for an easier stay.
  • Shows and evening events: don’t spend too long in the shower!
  • Don’t miss: Thursday flashback night and the children’s show.
  • Treats on return from the slopes: cakes, waffles, and more waiting for you.
  • Signature dinner (Village Club): enjoy dishes created by Chef Cédric Campanella.

Departure

And the same convenience applies at the end of your stay: click and go to the “Departure: Check-out” icon.

Packing for departure

Ski equipment: perfect time to use what’s been sitting in the garage but no need to buy new gear! Renting instead of buying is better for the planet.

  • Layer up: three layers are enough (thermal base layer, fleece, jacket). One more and you won’t move; one less and you won’t go outside.
  • Don’t forget: hat, neck warmer, gloves—and for the cold-sensitive, glove liners.
  • Comfort outfit: perfect for relaxing after skiing.
  • Sun protection: two tubes are better than one—one for skiers and one for clubbers* (kids in the club). Lip balm included.
  • Sunglasses or ski goggles: your eyes will thank you!

Not necessary

  • Towels and bed linen: provided.
  • Hairdryer: available in accommodation or at reception—no need to bring one.
