Arêches-Beaufort: summer in the great outdoors & nature

When winter ends, Arêches-Beaufort reveals its green alpine pastures, deep forests, turquoise lakes, and panoramas with Mont Blanc in the background. Whether you’re on a mountain bike, on foot, taking a leisurely stroll, or tackling technical descents, the terrain opens up before you.

The area offers more than 500 km of marked trails for all levels, in a preserved natural environment. Two-wheel enthusiasts are well catered for, with enduro, electric, and cross-country mountain biking routes.

To switch pace: the Roc du Vent via ferrata, canyoning in the gorges, hikes to Lake Roselend or Lake de la Gittaz, or simply a moment to relax in the open air by the water or on a high-altitude terrace.

The village remains true to its identity: stone and wooden chalets, human-scale streets, and local produce at the heart of daily life. This is not a place to “see and be seen,” but to immerse yourself, breathe, and share. Arêches-Beaufort in summer is the mountains offering themselves to you with generosity, simplicity, and warmth.

All for adventures!
