Perched at around 1,860 m already a dizzying height Montgenèvre invites you to glide under the Southern Alps sun. The summit reaches approximately 2,648 m at the “Rocher de l’Aigle” sector, offering sweeping views over the Clarée Valley and neighboring Italy. With direct access to the Milky Way ski area, more than 400 km of slopes open up for all levels and every kind of pleasure.
From thoughtfully designed beginner slopes, wide blue runs for relaxed carving, dynamic red pistes, to black runs for adrenaline seekers, everything is here. And all while keeping that “village-resort” charm: wooden and stone chalets, pedestrian streets, sunny terraces, and a warm, family-friendly welcome.
What Montgenèvre does best? It combines a vast ski domain with a sense of closeness. You ski on an international scale, you laugh on a local one. It’s not about showing off it’s about experiencing the mountains together. Montgenèvre offers winter in its pure alpine, natural, and communal form, just a short distance from Briançon and the Fréjus tunnels, straddling the Hautes-Alpes department and the Piedmont region.
